Who is Omran Hamidi ?
My name is Omran Hamidi. In 2021, I acquired a local take-away business despite having no prior experience in the industry. Just one month after the acquisition, I noticed that there were days when the business was only making 600 DKK (80.51 €) a day.
I was filled with fear and uncertainty. Could I afford to pay my workers? Would I be able to cover the rent? Did I make the right decision in acquiring the business?
For an establishment that had been operating for so many years, it was unacceptable to have days where we experienced such significant losses. I knew that it was unrealistic to expect a restaurant to be profitable every single day, but I was determined to optimize our revenue.
So how did we manage to turn things around?
I spent enormous amount of time reading and understanding the game. I looked at the biggest restaurants in Denmark and began to understand the marketing game.
